We strongly recommend that you be fitted for shoes on each occasion of shoegear purchase. We have found that there is not one brand that is consistently of better quality than others. Shop when you have enough time to shop comfortably.

To benefit you with the most supportive shoegear qualities, we would recommend that you consider the following list of qualities:

1. Very stiff, leather heel counters.

2. Perpendicular heel counters.

3. Leather shoes.

4. Tie shoes – at least four pair of eyelets.

5. Straighter outersoles (sprinting shoes may be somewhat inward

lasted).
